The below post is a special note from our good friend Bob “BZ” Zohn. BZ has been our sales rep for United Liquors for the past 30 years. He makes wine fun, approachable and enjoyable. We hope that you can come see BZ and Joe in action for their fifth year in a row at Shubie’s this Saturday!

Meet the Owner!
Joe Donelan of Donelan Family Wines
Saturday, June 18, 1p-5p
free to attend & big discounts!

For those of you who know me, this is even new territory for me. I’m not very tech savvy, but I just had to get the word out there how spectacular these wines are (I also told Dougy that if he would let me write this, I would try to get him a trip to see Joe!).joe donelan

I’ve been in the wine business for over thirty years and am still floored when I try “juice” this good. I’m talking about the wines of Joe Donelan and Donelan Family Wines.

While I do believe that wine is a personal beverage, and the guidance of your own palate and passion is what determines a great wine, Joe’s wines rock. Hands down. Joe Donelan’s wines (handcrafted in small quantities by his talented winemaker, Joe Nielsen) are an awesome expression of terroir and superior winemaking.

That being espoused, I agree entirely with the Wine Advocate’s high praise and remarkable accolades to Joe’s viticultural masterpieces. All wines are rated 90 points or higher.

I really hope to see you Saturday. Joe will be there (for a record fifth time!). The wine will be there. What else could you possibly need?

Cheers,
BZ
